Congregations of Groves
Under each full moon, druids engage in emotional support, spiritual guidance, bonding activities, celebration, peer review, and similar festivities. These full moon ceremonies can also include the ordination of druids, weddings & handfastings, and consumption of sacramental nootropics.
Each full moon has a “theme” of sorts that should help set our intentions for the coming month ahead. Starting with the first full moon after the Summer Solstice:
- The Festival Moon represents the end of the FAIRY Festival and is a time to focus on what we have learned at the solstice we wish to apply to our own lives.
- The Autonomy Moon encourages us to do whatever we want, whatever that looks like, to fulfill ourselves in any way.
- The Autumn Moon is our harvest festival and a time to prepare for the coming cold & darkness.
- The Halloween Moon marks the end of Summer and the start of the next season.
- ***
- The Auspicious Moon is the first moon of the Halloween season & a time to celebrate the luck & blessings in our own lives.
- The Winner Moon teaches us we all have something special & unique about us to focus on, which we can share with the community to make everyone better.
- The Winter Moon is usually the first full moon after the Yuletide Solstice and a time to spend with family & close friends.
- The Spring Moon marks the end of Halloween & the beginning of Spring, a time to start cleaning everything.
- ***
- The Wyrm Moon celebrates dragons.
- The Fool’s Moon is for frivolities.
- The Pharaoh Moon is for a serious look at the future of our lives.
- The Summer Moon marks the end of Spring & is when we start to prepare for the FAIRY Festival. There are no counted days or weeks between the Summer Moon & the Summer Solstice.
- ***
- The Blue Moon sometimes shows up in-between seasons & is a time for taking risks.
DONATE
We are in the process of applying for legal status but United States tax code does not require churches to file any paperwork before accepting tax-deductible donations from the public. We will be more able to take proper donations in the future but in the mean time, here is a Venmo link:
Please include a moon emoji in the note field. Donations of $20 USD or more can request a personal donation letter.
